Maldives minister and politician’s comment on India
Maldives Minister Mariam Shuina and Politician Zahid Rameez’s comment on India’s Prime Minister Modi said that India can never be equal to Maldives. No matter how much India tries, the smell in their rooms can never stop. Which has become a big controversy.
Prime Minister Modi’s promotion of Lakshadweep
Prime Minister of India Modi is promoting Lakshadweep. And in his tweet also he has asked people to visit Lakshadweep. He also shared some photos of Lakshadweep on his Instagram and told about its beauty. Some artists like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Shraddha Kapoor etc. are also supporting Pam Modi in this and suggesting Indians to travel to Lakshadweep. Many people along with Akshay Kumar have condemned Maldives’ comment.
Most traveled country in Maldives
Every year most Indians travel to Maldives. More than 2 lakh 5 thousand Indians travel to Maldives every year. Media organization of Maldives told that most of the tourists come to Maldives. More than half of Maldives’ economy depends on India.
After the statement of Maldives Minister, people have started tweeting the name of #BoycottMaldives on x. After which the former Prime Minister of Maldives condemned the statement of the minister and the politician and said that India has always been a friend of Maldives and after Covid 19, India had supported Maldives. After which he deleted the Maldivian Minister’s post against India on X.
Maldives is being criticized after its comments about India. Many Indians have canceled the plans made regarding Maldives. Flights from India to Maldives have also been cancelled. After which Ahmed MahMluf, who was the Sports Minister in the previous government, said on social media that he was upset with the comments made on India. India’s boycott of Maldives is having a huge impact on the economy of Maldives. He demands from the government that this matter should be ended quickly and its relations with India should be improved. Indians will always be welcome in Maldives. He apologizes to Indians for the remarks made on behalf of the people of Maldives.
